THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our fast-growing commercial team based in London. This is an opportunity to work directly with our Commercial Growth Officer, Luci Heather, and several of our Account Execs - helping Sphere expand further our client footprint, and to build on strong enterprise relationships. You’ll play a key role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying new prospects across the oil and gas markets, contributing directly to our continued growth and success.

Requirements

  • Experience: We’re looking for at least 12 months’ experience in an SDR or sales role within SaaS, data, fintech, analytics, or similar
  • Mindset: We’re looking for someone who is self-starting, and comfortable taking initiative without constant direction.
  • Activity: You’ll need to thrive in a high-volume, high-energy environment - loves the phone and embraces outreach.
  • Intellect: Be curious, be analytical, and be able to understand the complexity of energy markets and data-driven products.
  • Resilience: You’re unafraid of rejection, and you’ll view challenges as opportunities to improve.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: This right across our firm, so you’ll enjoy building from scratch - researching, experimenting, and iterating to find what works.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and engage new prospects through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry channels.
  • Manage high-volume outreach - building and maintaining a consistent daily cadence.
  • Qualifying inbound and outbound opportunities for the sales team, booking meetings and demos.
  • Collaborate with our Account Execs and the wider team to refine messaging, target markets, and outreach strategy.
  • Leverage tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Sales Navigator to source leads and manage pipelines.
  • Contribute ideas to improve our go-to-market strategy - from A/B testing emails to refining call scripts and campaign collateral.
  • Participate in client visits, calls, and product training to understand Sphere’s value proposition and the markets we serve
