The program includes training at a local branch, shadowing sales and operational roles, and participating in a digital onboarding class with peers across North America. You will progress through outbound sales campaigns, master key United Rentals sales tools, and learn proven sales methodologies to drive revenue growth. The average Sales Associate spends 4-6 months in the Sales Development Program (SDP) before promotion to an Outside Sales Representative (OSR), with the timeline dependent on market conditions and individual performance.
