The Sales Development Manager at GOLFBALLS.COM is responsible for leading and developing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Associates (SAs) to achieve sales targets and drive new business growth. This role involves creating and implementing strategies for prospecting, qualifying, and converting leads, while also nurturing existing relationships and reactivating former accounts. The manager will equip the team with necessary tools, training, and processes to ensure sustainable performance and success.

  • Inspire and manage a team of BDRs and SAs to exceed sales revenue and profit targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to foster skill development and career growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, weekly one-on-ones, and team meetings to set goals, celebrate wins, and address challenges.
  • Identify individual and team training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to ensure alignment with department goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, qualify, and contact new prospects.
  • Design and oversee tools, tactics, and campaigns to grow revenue and increase profit.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Establish and document best practices for outreach, pipeline development, and opportunity management.
  • Leverage CRM and sales tools to monitor progress, analyze performance, and optimize workflows.
  • Drive the adoption of technology and automation tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead the team in building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to fuel the sales organization.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, including prospecting, closing deals, and managing client relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, lead generation, and account management best practices.
  • Experience leading and coaching sales teams, with a proven track record of developing top performers.
  • Passion for mentoring and enabling team success through continuous learning and skill-building.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable tools, processes, and tactics to achieve team goals.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to sales performance and metrics.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, leveraging CRM and other sales enablement tools.
  • Familiarity with the golf industry and/or decorated products.
