About The Position

The Sales Development Manager position for the Hobart Warewash Division will work from the division headquarters in Troy, Ohio. The Warewash Business Division produces Hobart brand commercial dishwashers that are used in hotels, casinos, restaurants, cruise ships, schools, universities and retail establishments. We are the industry leader and seeking to expand our growth in existing served markets as well as new markets. This position will be responsible for Food Retail National Accounts and street business accounts. Additionally, it provides support to the field sales organization and segmented market by maximizing sales volume for individual product lines. The Sales Development Manager will plan and develop strategies by product category to meet sales goals. The candidate will also be the expert on Warewash products and will provide day-to-day product support, lead customer product presentations and administer promotional opportunities with the field sales organization.

Responsibilities

• Work with manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing and Warewash administration to position product lines for increased sales volumes.
• Develop and execute new sales to support growth, provide product information to the sales team, consultants and dealers.
• Develop and facilitate product launch and sales training materials.
• Visit factory and showrooms to demonstrate product benefits and value.
• Conduct market research.
