About The Position

The Sales & Design Specialist is responsible for designing, selling, and installing storage equipment for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities. Develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and promote company brand. Focus on promoting sales of new and used storage equipment projects to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. Ensures all Sync Storage Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.

Requirements

  • Excellent Customer Service, communication, and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding Sales Leadership and Customer Relationship Building Skills
  • Strong Financial focus, including capital buying process, cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making and quantitative analysis
  • Thorough knowledge of all systems, procedures, techniques, equipment, operations, standards and reports that apply to Sync Storage Solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and CRM tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in selling complex products – experience in warehouse products is preferable
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations; shipping and receiving, put-away, order picking, replenishment, facilities management, throughput, cycle counting, transportation and logistics
  • Thorough knowledge of supply and demand chain management fundamentals such as inbound raw material flow and outbound distribution
  • Proven success in designing, quoting, and closing the sales of equipment and other allied products.

Responsibilities

  • Find, penetrate, design, quote, and close deals particular to respective product vertical
  • Help manage delivery, installation, and implementation of projects sold to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Grow profitability with existing and conquest accounts through the new and used storage equipment products
  • Assist Manager, Sales in forecasting sales, including setting account targets for sales of new and used storage equipment
  • Maintain detailed account profiles and prepares sales reports as required
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and profitability objectives
  • Design and implement vigorous prospecting plan to find, develop and execute sales opportunities
  • Continuously increase product and industry knowledge and interpersonal skills
  • Attend and participate in company-sponsored events and industry trade shows
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products, services, competitor activities and market data
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
