About The Position

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a professional Phone Operator to join our sales team at a local coin company. The Phone Operator will be responsible for handling all inbound calls, assisting customers with inquiries, and supporting the sales team by generating and qualifying leads. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. Pay will be $15/hr+ DOE

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a call center, telemarketing, or sales support role preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable taking high-volume calls
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions
  • Qualify leads and transfer potential clients to sales representatives
  • Schedule appointments and follow-up calls for the sales team
  • Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and basic complaints courteously
  • Achieve daily/weekly call and performance targets
  • Document all call activities accurately
