About The Position

The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team in driving revenue and delivering exceptional client service. This role involves coordinating meetings and events, preparing proposals and contracts, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to learn about all aspects of sales, catering, customer service, and hotel operations, setting the stage for a progressive career in sales. Requirements

A high school diploma, a GED, or one year of hotel experience
Eligible to work in the United States
Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Responsibilities

Assist the sales and catering managers and directors with clerical tasks and guest service.
Respond to guests' requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Perform word processing, typing, e-mailing, data entry, filing, faxing, copying, and processing mail.
Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed.
