Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales skills and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Knowledge of furniture products, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift and move furniture products, as well as stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and reaching to retrieve items

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in Spanish is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting furniture products that meet their needs and preferences
• Provide customers with product information, features, and benefits, as well as pricing and payment options
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends and product releases
• Conduct product demonstrations and answer customer questions to facilitate the buying process
• Work with the management team to achieve sales targets and ensure the smooth operation of the store or showroom
• Process sales transactions and discuss financing options
• Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure their satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns
• Assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining the appearance of the store or showroom
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
