Mopec is currently searching for a Sales Consultant/ Clinical Workflow Subject Matter Expert (SME) will leverage extensive experience in surgical and anatomic pathology to provide consultative expertise on clinical workflows to prospective customers. This role combines technical knowledge with strong customer-facing skills to support workflow optimization, sales enablement, and client engagement. The SME will act as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations, ensuring operational excellence and improved patient care outcomes utilizing the Mopec solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years as a Pathologist Assistant in surgical and anatomic pathology.
  • ASCP Certified (required).
  • Deep understanding of pathology workflows and laboratory operations.
  • Ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to develop and present product solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for client engagement.
  • Self-Starter who can travel & work independently, as well as also work and collaborate with a team of professionals to achieve common goals
  • Professional demeanor with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work Sales, Marketing, and Partner Tradeshows.
  • Ability to travel is between 50%-60%.
  • Laboratory Technologies proficient including Digital Anatomic Pathology experience.
  • Microsoft and Office Tools are proficient.

Nice To Haves

  • Autopsy Supervisor and/or Forensic Pathologist Assistant with at least 5 years of autopsy experience.
  • HTL / QIHC Certification (preferred).
  • Management or leadership experience.
  • Resident training experience.
  • Sales support and demonstrated customer-facing professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in pathology workflows, including grossing, autopsy, and specimen processing.
  • Partner with clients to assess current processes and recommend best practices utilizing Mopec solutions for efficiency and compliance.
  • Support sales teams during pre-sales and post-sales activities, providing technical expertise and workflow insights.
  • Deliver training and education to residents, laboratory staff, and client teams.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and customers to ensure successful implementation and adoption of workflow solutions.
  • Stay current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in pathology.
