The Opportunity at Komodo Health: We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Sales Compensation Analyst to own the end-to-end administration of our global sales incentive plans. This role is critical for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant payout of all variable compensation, while serving as a key partner to our Sales, Finance, and HR teams. Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have accomplished… Accurately calculate and distribute commissions across the organization. Ensure data integrity through validation of sales performance data from Salesforce and other systems. Support and maintain monthly and quarterly commission accruals. Drive the successful implementation of a new sales compensation platform. Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports using Salesforce, G-Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau. Conduct audits and analyses to ensure compensation accuracy and policy compliance. Be go-to for answering commission plan questions from the sales team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales commission processing, compensation administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing complex compensation plans and processes within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with a dedicated Sales Compensation Management Tool (e.g., Performio, Xactly, Varicent, SAP Commission).
  • Strong technical skills and experience leveraging Salesforce data for compensation calculation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with G Suite or Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced spreadsheet/modeling skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex compensation concepts clearly to diverse audiences (Sales, Finance, Leadership).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of calculating, validating, and distributing all sales commissions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of variable payouts (monthly, quarterly, etc.).
  • Manage the configuration, data validation, and processing within the Sales Compensation Management Tool (e.g., Performio, Xactly, etc.).
  • Validate and integrate sales performance data from source systems, such as Salesforce, ensuring data integrity for commission processing.
  • Calculate and manage monthly and quarterly commissions accruals, collaborating closely with the Finance team for accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Payroll (e.g., Workday) and Finance to ensure commission payments are correctly processed, reconciled, and reflected in financial systems.
  • Track, manage, and archive sales plan documents, ensuring timely distribution and collection of signed incentive agreements.
  • Monitor and manage exception requests, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to approval workflows.
  • Evaluate and drive continuous improvements on the commission's processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure seamless alignment on commission plans, policies, and system integration.
  • Support the annual review and rollout of new compensation plans, coordinating implementation efforts with all cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing training and support to the sales teams regarding incentive compensation plans and related commissions processes.
