About The Position

As an Analyst, Compensation, you will partner with the compensation team on supporting client groups across Activision, Blizzard, and King. You will work closely with HR centers of excellence including HR Operations, Talent, and HR Business Partners to service compensation requests for their client groups and incoming talent, including base pay, short and long-term incentives, and employment agreements. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Compensation
  • Experience within a multinational or global companies
  • Experience in tech, entertainment, gaming, and/or consulting
  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferred focus in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative fields
  • Highly organized with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, sophisticated, dynamic business environment
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build relationships and partner effectively to provide service-oriented support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, recognizes trends, and has interest in translating data or complex findings to senior leaders
  • Team player eager to learn and contribute, demonstrating accountability and discretion
  • Resilient in the face of change with the ability to adjust, adapt, and perform in a constantly evolving environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint required

Nice To Haves

  • Workday experience preferred; familiarity with Workday’s Advanced Compensation module is a strong plus.
  • Functional knowledge of statistics as applied to business is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Participate in market compensation surveys, maintain global benchmarking, and assist with competitive market analyses and pay program assessments
  • Review and occasionally create job descriptions to evaluate jobs and ensure alignment with compensation structures
  • Collaborate to develop competitive and equitable salary recommendations for external candidate offers and internal employee changes using market data and compensation guidelines
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with compensation-related laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay equity, transparency)
  • Manage compensation data in HRIS system and other compensation tools to ensure accuracy and support system enhancements
  • Support the annual merit planning, bonus, and equity processes in partnership with Compensation team colleagues (e.g., data audits, system enhancements/testing, assist with preparing compensation-related communications, training materials, and statements)
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for management to support compensation decisions
  • Research compensation topics and trends, proposing programmatic changes and providing analysis as needed
