Internship Overview The Sales & Community Relations Intern serves as the vital connection between Flagstop Car Wash and the communities we serve. This is a hands-on, field-based role—not a desk internship. You’ll work directly with site teams to build sales confidence, activate local fundraising partnerships, and support business and fleet accounts. Key Learning Objectives & Responsibilities 1. Field Sales Coaching & Team Support Sales Incentive Support: Partner with the Guest Sales & Support Team to drive proactive member retention and participate in high-impact initiatives such as fleet drives and dealership conversion events. AI-Enhanced Guest Support: Learn how to leverage AI tools and Zendesk to resolve simple guest needs efficiently, enabling site teams to focus on high-value outbound sales and relationship building. 2. Community Engagement & Fundraising Traffic-Driving Fundraisers: Coordinate and execute local fundraising events by aligning nonprofits and schools with specific Flagstop locations to increase awareness and site traffic. Fundraiser Conversion Strategy: Lead organizations through Flagstop’s “Fundraiser Playbook” to maximize participation, conversions, and overall success. Chamber & Networking Presence: Represent Flagstop at Chamber of Commerce meetings and local networking events to strengthen community relationships and brand visibility. 3. B2B & Dealership Partnerships Dealership Program Support: Assist local auto dealerships with seamless wash solutions that deliver a premium guest experience and convert dealership customers into loyal Flagstop members. Fleet Account Growth: Identify local businesses with vehicle fleets and help design customized wash programs that create value for clients while meeting Flagstop’s financial goals. Retention & Reactivation: Use Zendesk and CRM tools to re-engage former fleet clients and bring them back into the Flagstop ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related.
  • Personality: High-energy, outgoing, and confident—comfortable approaching site teams and local business owners.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain the value of a Flagstop membership in 30 seconds or less.
  • Mobility: Reliable transportation required for travel between Flagstop locations across the region.
