About The Position

Knudtsen Foothills Lincoln Mazda is seeking a BDC Representative to join the Knudtsen family. Knudtsen is a family-owned and operated company that provides the Spokane and Post Falls communities with new and used cars, full-service body shops and service departments,as well as genuine Mazda and Lincoln Parts. At Knudtsen,we strive to be a team and truly value our relationships with each other, our customers, and the community. A Business Development Representative is responsible for responding to incoming phone and Internet leads in a professional and timely manner, as well as reaching out to in-market customers, while keeping detailed notes. You would be an integral part of creating valuable, lifelong customer relationships and would directly impact the customer experience at Knudtsen Foothills. Continuing product, process, and service specific training would be provided.

Requirements

  • A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Self-motivated and hard-working.
  • Basic computer skills, working ability of Word, Excel, etc., and ability to learn database management software.
  • Capacity to learn product knowledge for inventories, advertising programs, etc.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Pass a motor vehicle report and possess a safe driving record.
  • Pass a criminal background check and credit check.
  • Required pre-employment drug test (note: we do not test for marijuana during pre-employment testing). Also subject to random drug testing, reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing, and post-accident testing at the company’s request.

Responsibilities

  • Answers all incoming sales calls, being sure to capture all necessary information in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management software).
  • Contacts Internet leads and sets appointments for dealership visits while capturing all necessary information in the CRM.
  • Follows up with all non-appointment incoming sales calls.
  • Contacts unsold showroom traffic leads.
  • Sets and confirms Sales appointments.
  • Follows up with no-show appointments.
  • Tracks sold vehicles; tracks and reaches out to in-market customers using manifest lists.
  • Performs other duties assigned by department manager.
