Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BBA or BS) from an accredited 4-year institution.
  • At least two years of finance or accounting experience, including analyzing large data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to leverage data to improve business operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and effective at achieving team goals.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate independent, objective, and open-minded thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve issues with Victra's cash in transit programs for retail locations, ensuring cash security and accuracy.
  • Participate in daily business reconciliation and identify areas of systemic, procedural, or fraud risk.
  • Partner with the GCC on cash reconciliation findings, ensuring all variances are investigated.
  • Assist in creating cash variance reports and identify root causes of discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with third parties (cash couriers, banks, service providers) to resolve issues and minimize risk of loss.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret data trends to provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures, including preparing entries for the general ledger.
  • Support fiscal closing calendar timelines for assigned tasks.
  • Refer suspected theft or fraud to the Asset Protection team and support investigations as needed.
  • Participate in store operations communication and procedural discussions to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
  • Implementing solutions for root cause errors to drive long-term improvements.
