Sales Associate - Snoqualmie, WA The Territory Account Associate functions in a semi-autonomous atmosphere performing sales functions for North America with guidance and educational input from the Territory Managers and Territory Account Managers. This includes daily customer support executed through the fielding of telephone calls and electronic inquiries from design professionals and the contract glazing community. Typical workload also involves the generation of sales quotations, the closing of sales opportunities, and heavy CRM management with an emphasis on sales pipeline development and account maintenance. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Four-year college degree required, preferably in business, sales, or a construction-related discipline.
  • 3+ years of sales or customer service experience, preferably within the glass, fire-rated glazing, vertical, and horizontal framing systems and channel glass.
  • Knowledge of the building code(s) and how TGP’s products (and our competitors) fit within those codes and standards.
  • Ability to work with TGP’s price configuration systems and other software platforms in order to understand quote generation and to manage sales opportunities.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to negotiate with customers
  • Skill in both written and verbal communication.
  • Skill in preparing warranties, submittals and assisting inbound customer inquiries.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in answering inbound sales related telephone calls, emails and online requests.
  • Responds to customer requests for CAD and three-dimensional drawings.
  • Provides consultation to design professionals, architects, and others in the fenestration and/or glazing community.
  • Creates, tracks, and follows up with opportunities and quotes in CRM per TM and TAM guidance.
  • Complete ownership of specific scope and quote qualification, opportunity creation and establishment of probability.
  • Opportunity Management in sales stage 3-5 which leads to the closure of a sale.
  • Helps finalize the bid process by preparing, processing and monitoring the purchase order with the final scope of work, final specifications, plans and project timelines.
  • Collaborates with the Territory Account Managers and customers in their territory regarding specifications, scope of work, product selection, and the bid process.
  • Provides guidance to Project Management team when conducting project hand-offs regarding product selection, code compliance, hardware functionality, etc.
  • In the absence of a TM due to vacation, sick time or business travel, a Territory Sales Associate will work on behalf of the TM managing the territory by identifying proper products and pricing options for projects, quotes and job specification.
  • Execute required Demand Creation exercises or analysis when requested.
  • Works towards achieving the sales target for the North America.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
