Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region is looking for a friendly and motivated Part-Time Sales Associate to join our Mooresville ReStore team. Requirements

Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Comfortable learning new products and point-of-sale systems.
Strong communication skills and a desire to help customers.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Experience in a retail environment is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and determine their needs to provide helpful guidance.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and communicate product benefits effectively.
Support sales efforts by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions at the point-of-sale.
Handle customer questions and concerns professionally, escalating as needed.
Collaborate with team members to reach store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Assist with inventory management, including restocking and inventory counts.
Support promotional activities and special events to boost engagement and sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
