About The Position

Job Title: Sales Associate - Outside Commercial Plumbing Location: Denver (Travel required in state) Pay Range: $71,000 - $106,000 Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm This position will remain open until 12/16/2025, or until the position is filled, whichever is later. • Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to sit, talk, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, and use eye/hand coordination
• Frequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to sit, stand, walk, and lift or carry 10lbs or less
• Occasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, push or pull, grasp, use fine manipulation and lift or carry 10-100+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Promptly and professionally process sales orders
• Prepare pricing details and quotes per customer requirements; follow up until sale is complete
• Utilize industry expertise and product knowledge to identify customer needs and offer appropriate products
• Ensure fulfillment of orders and keep projects on schedule by coordinating delivery/pickup times; collaborate with purchasing for unique products, ordering, or job requirements
• Administer the highest level of comprehensive customer service by quickly responding to customers, maintaining rapport, ensuring the quickest fulfillment times, promptly troubleshooting issues, and presenting a professional image in alignment with Rampart’s values
• Conduct customer site visits to ensure satisfaction with our products and identify solutions to unmet customer needs
• Communicate with local representatives and vendors as needed to obtain product knowledge, pricing, spec sheets and product availability
• Sell based on company value proposition and maintain strong profit margins
• Monitor current sales trends and product performance results utilizing company reporting to analyze customer buying trends and develop plans to quantify and engage new customers
• Develop effective working relationships with other departments, including Inside Sales, Support Associates, Counter, and Operations
• Develop product trainings for customers as needed with the assistance of factory personnel and/or local Representatives
• Answer customer phone calls, qualify leads, and follow up on opportunities
• Operate ethically in accordance with Rampart’s established systems, policies and procedures
• Present on products and capabilities during sales calls
• Do weekly consignment inventory on Rampart owned inventory at several Plumbing customer warehouses
• Assist in customer returns including processing stock returns and working with the vendors and Representatives on non-stock returns
• Occasionally make small emergency deliveries and/or pickups
• Assist loading customer products
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
