About The Position

Sales Associate Intern PRIMARY DUTIES: Receives incoming phone calls, mail, e-mail and faxes for customers placing orders. Provides a variety of inquiry functions and handles complaints and questions from district sales representatives, sales managers, and customers. Provides back up to other sales associates. Sets-up and maintains new and old customer account files and records. Enters orders and change orders as necessary in computer system. Enters computer graphic requests, project requests, and processes Design Center Visit information, as necessary. Works with customers that come in for Design Center visits. Writes debits, credits, tracers, return material authorizations and instructs receiving department on the disposition of returns. Processes and distributes catalog, pop and display orders and sales promotion material requests as directed. Works closely with the Design Center to ensure artwork is in on time and scheduled. Provides instructions for processing the artwork. Upon receipt of virtual and hard samples, forwards them to proper manager and or customer. Upon receipt of approval of all samples, enters sales orders as necessary to prompt work orders for production. Assists all sales managers in conveying information to the field. Trains new sales associates and incumbents as required. Contacts customers upon sales managers request to update address information and notification of sales promotions. Develops and maintains numerous spreadsheets for projects and reporting. Develops and maintains reports for Sales Managers, ASM’s, and Customers. Perform related duties or special assignments as directed. EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of AX operating system a plus This is an office hourly, full on-site position located in Bradford, PA Smoking is permitted in most areas of Zippo workplace facilities, other than certain designated non-smoking areas .
