To see our fill list of Team Member Benefits please visit our career site: www.gotoworkhappy.com/benefits Job Description: The Retail Clerk is responsible for marketing Retail merchandise to Guests, stocking the Retail area, and performing sales transactions Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Markets Retail merchandise to Guests Stock and re-stock the Retail area to ensure an adequate inventory of all goods Perform cash and/or credit transactions with Guests Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures-including precheck and cashiering procedures Ensures Guest satisfaction with effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelines Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required Cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience Must possess ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time Must possess order-entry skills Must possess ability to become proficient to operate computer systems utilized and 10-key adding machines. Windows based software proficiency preferred Extensive cashiering experience preferred Must have exceptional guest service skills Must be detail oriented Must possess basic math skills Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team members Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays Work Environment: Duties and responsibilities are typically performed a store setting, which can be faced-paced. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
