About The Position

Sales Assistant - North Park Subaru We are looking to add top quality individuals to our Sales Team to handle our rapid increase in traffic. We want premium, educated, and professional applicants looking for a long-term career and advancement in the automotive industry. The Sales Assistant position is considered a stepping stone to our Sales Professional position and is an excellent way to gain the experience necessary for success.

Requirements

High school diploma
Must work well in a team environment
Efficiently operate a computer
Must be punctual
Professional appearance
Must pass drug test
Valid Texas driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Some college or college degree preferred
No formal sales experience required but preferred
Customer service experience a plus

Responsibilities

Assist showroom Sales Professionals and Sales Managers with the functions of the sale
Help with out-of-town deliveries, ensuring a successful, completely satisfied orientation experience (including touching up cleanliness, topping off fuel, answering product / technology questions, finalizing paperwork)
Assist Sales Management in monitoring client traffic on the new and pre-owned showroom; looking for people in need of assistance and jumping in to welcome them.
Become proficient with in-vehicle technology and be available for customers arriving with technology questions
Complete follow-up phone calls / e-mails to recent sales customers and prospects as assigned by Sales Management
Attend weekly department meetings as appropriate
