About The Position

The Sales Assistant, Print on Demand, provides critical administrative and operational support to the VP, Sales and POD sales team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced apparel environment and enjoys being the connective tissue between sales, production, art, and operations. The Sales Assistant helps ensure accounts are serviced accurately and efficiently from order entry through delivery.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, account services, or merchandising (apparel preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and basic reporting tools
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Print on Demand, apparel, or licensed product environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and order management tools
  • Interest in sales, account management, and apparel production workflows

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the VP, Sales and POD sales team on POD accounts
  • Coordinate and manage multiple small scale POD accounts, ensuring accurate product setup, timely updates, and consistent account support.
  • Ensure customers receive relevant catalogs and merchandising materials for major releases, seasonal programs, and new product launches in a timely manner.
  • Manage customer product selections by tracking approvals, submitting assets to internal upload teams, and ensuring timely delivery of finalized selections.
  • Assist with order entry, order tracking, and maintenance of sales records
  • Prepare sales presentations, line sheets, and account recaps as needed
  • Support account communication by following up on open items, confirmations, and approvals
  • Enter and manage customer purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Art, Operations, Logistics) to ensure orders are executed correctly
  • Track order status, production timelines, and ship dates; flag issues proactively
  • Maintain accuracy of styles, pricing, quantities, and delivery details
  • Support seasonal and daily POD initiatives as assigned
  • Assist with special projects related to account growth and operational efficiency
  • Help maintain strong internal and external relationships through clear, professional communication
