About The Position

This role is essential in ensuring smooth loan processing, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and enhancing the overall efficiency of a sales team. You will also play a vital role in keeping the loan officers on track with their appointments and tasks.

Requirements

  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).
  • Technical Skills: Fluency with modern technology, including ChatGPT and other AI tools, to enhance workflow and communication. Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service: Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with loan officers, agents, and clients.

  • Experience: Prior experience in the mortgage or real estate industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Income Analysis: Work up borrower income calculations to ensure accuracy for loan qualification.
  • File Preparation: Ensure loan applications are complete and accurate, including borrower details, eConsent, and supporting documents.
  • Document Management: Collect, review, and organize initial and follow-up documents upfront and at CLA to identify and address potential issues early.
  • Loan Processing: Assist with RESPA compliance when loans are under contract and help process refinances by working up numbers.
  • Client Interaction: Meet clients in person as needed for disclosures or eConsent assistance. Follow up with pre-qualified borrowers regularly to keep them engaged and informed.
  • Communication: Send timely emails to buyer's agents with pending items for CTC to expedite the process. Communicate updates and requests clearly and professionally to all parties involved.
  • Loan Applications: Take loan applications over the phone and prepare them for the loan officer to finalize pre-qualifications.
  • Credit Repair Assistance: Guide clients through credit repair strategies to improve their loan eligibility.
  • LSU Preparation: Draft and send Loan Status Updates (LSUs) as required.
  • Time Management: Time block specific days to ensure consistent follow-up with borrowers and manage workflow effectively.
  • Scheduling and Reminders: Assist Loan Officers by scheduling their appointments and tasks. Send reminders to ensure all meetings, deadlines, and tasks are met on time.
  • Technology Utilization: Demonstrate proficiency with technology tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, loan origination systems (LOS), and ChatGPT, to streamline communication, enhance productivity, and improve efficiency.
  • Receptionist: Coverage for the front desk as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
