About The Position

WLBT-TV in Jackson, MS, is seeking an organized, resourceful, detail-oriented individual to provide support to the sales management team, Media Executives, and station clients. The individual will work directly with the sales team and management to provide client customer service and delivery of sales commitments. An ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who works well under pressure, has good time management skills, and one who likes to solve problems with a positive attitude.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel and Word
• Strong phone and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Desire to provide outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Sales and the Multimedia Sales Managers in order entry and maintenance
• Pull and provide detailed reports for management, as well as sales staff and clients
• Assist as needed during the political season, including uploading information to the FCC website
• Support the local sales team as needed
• Entry of broadcast and digital orders when needed
• Organizing and maintaining a high level of customer service on an ongoing basis
• Verifying the accuracy of orders
• Pulling monthly proof of performance reports for clients
• Helping create sales presentations
