About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales organization within a project‑based manufacturing environment. This role ensures smooth coordination across the full sales and project lifecycle — from quoting and order entry through project setup, execution, and system maintenance in SAP and CRM. You’ll work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Customer Service, and Operations to keep information flowing, data accurate, and processes compliant. Your expertise enables our teams to deliver exceptional service, seamless project kickoff, and consistent execution for our customers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support, inside sales, project administration, or manufacturing operations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an industrial or project‑based environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP (highly preferred)
  • Experience with CRM platforms

Responsibilities

  • Gather material and labor cost details from internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare complete and accurate cost sheets, including margin calculations.
  • Enter quotes into SAP and company‑approved templates.
  • Assist Sales Representatives during quoting and negotiation phases.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, customer, and pipeline data.
  • Keep quote status and sales activity updated in the CRM platform.
  • Create and maintain SAP project structures (WBS).
  • Enter sales orders and revenue details.
  • Input material/labor costs and BPOs.
  • Safeguard data integrity and compliance within SAP.
  • Communicate order details to Project Managers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Organize and support project kickoff meetings.
  • Serve as a bridge between Sales and internal operations during project start‑up.
  • Update SAP throughout the project or service order lifecycle.
  • Help resolve data discrepancies and keep records aligned across teams.
  • Support Customer Service and Finance with invoicing coordination and order status updates.
  • Provide administrative backup to ensure smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
