In this important support role, you will work closely with both our Outside and Inside Sales Representatives to ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, and efficient order processing for our plumbing customers — including contractors, plumbers, and builders. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in business or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or sales support role (experience in wholesale distribution, plumbing/HVAC, construction supply, or related industries is a strong plus).
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (e.g., inventory/sales software) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills — professional phone etiquette, clear written correspondence, and ability to interact effectively with contractors and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, team-player attitude with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 15 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck.
• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing products, terminology, or construction industry preferred but not required — we provide training!

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume calls and direct to appropriate staff
• Verify and release customer sales orders
• Process invoices, statements, and account allocations
• Open new job, credit, and cash accounts
• Verify sales tax rates via BOE website
• Manage refund requests and credit reference forms
• Prepare and track notices for liens, mechanic lien filings, and collections
• Update customer accounts and CA numbers daily in MIS
• Run weekly lien aging reports and follow up on accounts
• Prepare lien releases for customers
