About The Position
As a Sales Assistant, you will support the team and clients by helping with day-to-day operations in the store. This role offers hands-on experience in sales support, customer service, inventory, and visual merchandising. It is a support role, ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow in a creative, design-focused environment. You will report to the Assistant Manager and work closely with the sales and visual teams.
Requirements
- Interest in design, retail, or customer service
- Comfortable using Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Gmail, and navigating websites
- Willingness to learn systems like salesforce and design software (training provided)
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and move items as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support the team with order processing, delivery coordination, and client follow-up
- Help maintain the store’s visual presentation and product displays
- Assist with inventory of marketing materials, swatches, and office supplies
- Learn about products and design principles through training and team meetings
- Communicate with clients via phone and email to provide helpful, friendly service
