About The Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Sales Team and is a key contributor to the team's success. The individual in this position will primarily be responsible for scheduling and preparing the team for important sales meetings and trade shows. They will provide outstanding customer service by liaising between the Sales Team and our client accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience within the fashion industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel - v-looks ups and pivot tables
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional follow up and organizational skills
  • A sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and out of the box creative thinking
  • Ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently
  • May be required to bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Team with market preparation and appointments, own the market calendar, and order catering during market as needed
  • Manage the Group President’s calendar, coordinating meetings and ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Attend meetings, capture detailed notes, and distribute clear, timely recaps and action items
  • Conduct competitive shopping within NYC, including photographing product and procuring samples for review
  • Partner with Account Executives to pull model looks during market and update mannequins
  • Manage our B2B platform NuOrder by setting up line sheets for market, partnering with marketing to ensure home page imagery and video are up to date, partner with IT to get non-US pricing updated in a timely manner, barcode the samples for ease of order entry at trade shows
  • Enter market orders once received by the Sales Team
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with Buying teams to ensure a seamless process
  • Maintain accurate and up to date shipping log, follow up on monthly EDI confirmations
  • Track all samples in and out of the showroom, keep sample closet well-organized
  • Ship samples to accounts and Account Executives as needed
  • Ensure our showroom is always presentable, if there are any missing samples – working with Merchandising to place orders to replace them
  • Distribute all e-commerce images, VPI’s, PDP, F&B, video and copy to client accounts
  • Partner with account site specialists to gather data and gain insights for improvement
  • Own Drop Ship process, partner with sales to ensure drop ship styles are live on partners sites in a timely manner
