About The Position

The VRV Sales Application Engineer is critical in providing technical expertise on company products to sales representatives in the selection and application of business unit products to promote Daikin Applied VRV products as basis of design. This role will aid in developing strategies on how to position the product to effectively compete in the marketplace and interact with customers to effectively demonstrate value of company product lines. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years of related commercial HVAC industry experience
Previous experience with VRV/VRF system design
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with Power Automate is preferred

Responsibilities

Assist Sales Engineers in takeoffs, estimates, proposals, and submittals to win VRV Solutions
Assist with the design of VRV systems, ensuring they meet client requirements and technical specifications
Provide prompt, accurate support to Sales Engineer inquires regarding special applications, systems, or pricing
Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing
Keep informed on new products and competitive models in the market place
Communicate suggested modifications to the company's products/services to meet customer requirements. Communicate and provides feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by current product line
May write or provide input to assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field application
Participate in product training of sales representatives and customers
