Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in US sales and use tax, including audits.
Experience researching tax laws and staying current with changes.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Passion for automation and building efficient tax processes.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of sales and use tax laws to various goods and services, including exemptions and SaaS rules.
Coordinate sales and use tax filings and payments with internal stakeholders.
Download and review system reports for sales and use tax filings.
Conduct research to resolve tax issues and collaborate with teams.
Perform accruals and evaluate unreconciled balances.
Communicate with Accounting Team on sales tax treatment.
Support audits by gathering required documentation.
Manage business registrations for new and existing locations.
Perform research to analyze sales and use tax inquiries.
Assist with system implementations to enhance compliance.
