Guidehouse IT is working towards a new operating model and strategic direction. As part of this change, we are creating senior leadership roles that will align to critical corporate function and business functions. This role will be aligned to both the Sales and Marketing functions and work closely with our CMO, Global Sales lead, Global Sales Enablement Lead, and sales leaders in the segments. The Portfolio Lead roles are essentially mini-CIOs in their aligned functional area (in this case sales and marketing) and have full technology stack responsibility for bringing the digital capabilities to the next level in sales and marketing. The primary responsibilities of this leader would as follows: Reports to the CIO and will co-develop with sales and marketing leaders, the strategic roadmap that will layout critical digital enablement development efforts Ensures sales and marketing-related technology initiatives—from system changes to integrations and analytics—are aligned, sequenced correctly, and supported by the right IT teams and partners Plays a single point of accountability for all sales and marketing and Resource Management initiatives on the IT side, so sales and marketing leaders don’t have to coordinate across multiple technology teams or vendors Focuses on ensuring sales and marketing systems and tools, supported by IT, are aligned with how the organization actually hires, develops, and manages people—without unnecessary complexity or cost
