About The Position

The Sales and Management Intern position is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to retail management and sales operations at Buckle. The intern will work closely with the Store Manager to understand the retail business, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals. This role involves a variety of tasks including sales generation, merchandising, and operational duties, all aimed at creating an enjoyable shopping experience for guests.

Requirements

• In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study.
• No prior experience or training necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend and help locate merchandise based on guest needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs by suggesting additional items.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and share it with the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies.
• Achieve personal sales goals set by store management.
• Assist guests in trying on or fitting merchandise.
• Check out and bag purchases, and prepare merchandise for alterations.
• Maintain good guest relationships to develop a client-based business.
• Present merchandise to maximize sales and ensure proper display.
• Open and close cash registers and balance cash drawers.
• Follow loss prevention guidelines and recognize security risks.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Complete required training and provide weekly reports to management.
