About The Position

The Sales Analyst role focuses on monitoring sales performance and providing visibility to the Sales Manager. This role requires data management skills to compare historical data, identify trends, and develop insights that drive strategic decision-making. Sales opportunities should be tracked and quantified using Microsoft Office tools, ERPs, and CRMs. Analysts should take ownership of key processes and develop new methods to enhance sales reporting and provide a clear view of our business trajectory to their sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • Previous sales-related experience and customer-facing activity
  • Demonstrated experience with sales teams, business intelligence, data visualization, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and successfully work on cross functional projects/teams
  • Excellent organizational and task-management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to solve problems through collaboration and critical thinking
  • Work with cross functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate monthly performance by gathering and analyzing meaningful data, and using critical thinking skills to provide insights to assigned Sales division, allowing the division to explain performance to the entire commercial team, including C-suite executives
  • Support efficient sales operations by organizing data, delivering meaningful, accurate, and timely reports to drive decisions and resolve issues
  • Provide the sales team with ad hoc data points, internal financial reports, product specification data, and other related information routinely and as requested
  • Track expiring products and maximizing their financial return
  • Operate autonomously within procedures, guidance, and established systems
  • Support customer requests with product information, samples, allowances, etc.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Meet with Sales Manager as needed
  • Connect with Marketing to ensure that product information is up-to-date, accurate, and is readily available in the FFH shared folders
  • Manage the new item submission process, connecting with sales team and brokers regarding presentations, projections, and any additional projects as needed
