Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience
  • Ability to work independently with manager’s supervision
  • Willingness to travel throughout territory and to periodic sales meetings
  • K nowledge of herbicides and fertilizers (dry and liquid)
  • Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft Office and Windows applications
  • You have solid interpersonal and team work skills with a positive attitude
  • You d emonstrate excellent English written and oral communication skills
  • You have a d etail and accuracy orientation with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • You’re p hysically able to endure outdoor climates including hot or c old weather extremes

Nice To Haves

  • Agronomy/Agribusiness degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • M anag e existing and attract new customers within sales territory
  • Assist customers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs
  • Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships
  • Identify new key customers, understand their business, determine their needs , and work with team to develop plans and actions for sales territory growth
  • Collaborate with team regarding sales territory budgeting, forecasting , and analysis
  • F ollow credit policies and manag e risk for the company
  • Work with manager to d evelop annual business plan that opt imizes gr owth and profitability for the territory
  • Implement marketing and sales plans; meet sales goals; and network with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities
  • Become the primary customer contact regarding deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, and custom application s
