The Sales Account Manager will be an integral member of our West Texas Team, responsible for providing direct sales, developing an additional customer base, account management, account development and customer relationship maintenance. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building and managing successful, long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in sales in the oil and gas industry
  • Technical knowledge of water transfer and water management services
  • Effective communicator and decision-maker
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (word, excel and calendar)
  • Demonstrated record of achieving sales growth
  • Established contacts at appropriate levels in E&P organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Grow existing accounts as well as target new accounts.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timeline manner.
  • Grow new customer relationships with E&P organizations.
  • Monitor sales metrics.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop strategic sales plans and analyze opportunities to grow market share within the Permian area and assigned E&P organizations.
  • Proven track record of closing sales at all levels, field, city and executive
  • Responsible for development of sales forecasting and tracking of assigned customers.
  • Establish and develop new opportunities at all levels and manage project coordination and follow up.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Market analysis including opportunities and threats.
  • Participates in sales shows and conferences, as needed.
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding job performance and implements changes.
  • Will spend 80% of time traveling to customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
