Join Altera as a Sales Account Manager! The Sales Account Manager role is a combination of growing existing business within assigned accounts, and uncovering new business by partnering with Altera's authorized distributors. This role's responsibility focuses on the geographic territory that consists of TX, LA, AR, and OK. The individual in this role will own sales budget targets for metrics like new opportunities uncovered, new design wins, and revenue growth at the accounts within the specified geographic territory. In order to achieve these targets, the individual will drive all sales activities including: demand creation, opportunity development, forecasting, pipeline hygiene, sales execution, and relationship management. Internally, this individual will drive opportunity visibility, accelerate technical support coordination, and manage issue resolution through collaboration with marketing, operations, applications engineering, and other supporting roles.
