About The Position

Job Summary: Outside Sales Representative for RWI division focusing on masonry and concrete contractors in Wisconsin. Goal is to maximize sales and market share by: prospecting; maintenance and expansion of current book of business; promotion and development of products/services to existing and prospective customers; manage pricing and expenses; develop clients in all sales channels; build personal relationships with influencers in assigned district; provide pricing and technical support; promote Bay image and coordinate customer satisfaction. Outside Sales Representative travels throughout district making personal calls on contractors, construction companies, and building material suppliers.

Requirements

  • 2 years of Outside Sales experience, required.
  • Must be comfortable with commercial jobsite visits.
  • As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Masonry and Concrete related sales experience, preferred.
  • Understanding of general contractors and the construction process, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and Presents Quotes and Acquires Customer Orders Daily
  • Customer and Prospect Sales Calls (outside office)
  • Handles Customer and Prospect questions, complaints, & needs
  • Prepares and Presents Customer and Prospect Product Seminars
  • Develops, Reviews and Implements District Sales Plan
  • Coordinates Customer requirements with Warehouse, Credit, Accounting, and Management.
  • Manages Expenses and Effective Time & Territory Travel Plan
  • Communicates (internally) District Competitive Situation
  • Product, Selling, and Leadership Education Ongoing
  • Promotes Bay and Bay Products Throughout District
  • Organize, Prepare and Implement Annual Sales Plan
  • Manage District Pricing and Quotations and Expenses
  • Generate New Customers and New Sales
  • Build Current Customer Relationships
  • Promote All Bay Products and Services to All Customers
