This Sales Executive is responsible for selling WP Engine services and solutions to prospective MM customers across a wide range of industries using a consultative and customer-focused sales approach. What it Takes To Be Successful Successful MM Sales Executives at WP Engine are consultative, business-minded, and sell not only as a team, but also work cross functionally. They are customer-inspired problem solvers, and skilled negotiators who confidently guide customers toward the right solutions. Success in this role requires exceptional sales acumen, value-based selling for both inbound and outbound opportunities. Consistent pipeline management and follow ups are necessary for success. A willingness to adapt to new strategies, processes, and feedback in a fast moving environment is crucial. Ultimately, success in this role is driven by a results-oriented approach, a commitment to driving growth, and the motivation to be an integral part of WP Engine's dynamic and innovative sales team. This includes being coachable, embracing change, and developing skills to meet evolving customer and business needs. Hybrid role! Our sales organization comes to the Austin, TX or Omaha, NE office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Day To Day Working with a mixture of inbound leads and using a list of warm leads to outbound and shoot you over hitting quota!

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in closing sales, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Proven success in crafting and executing outbound and inbound sales strategies.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SDR’s, Marketing, and Demand Gen organizations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
  • Results driven, proactive approach to generating your own opportunities through outbound efforts.
  • Consistent overachieve sales targets, with a history of exceeding quota in high-performance environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SDR teams to develop and optimize sales strategies and engagement cadences.
  • Lead discovery and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions aligned to customer pain points
  • Navigate complex buying groups and multistakeholder decision processes
  • Contribute to expanding market presence and achieving sales targets
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and maintain pipeline discipline in Salesforce.
  • Continuously refine and adapt sales approaches based on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Stay knowledgeable on WP Engine’s services and solution offerings, as well as the value they bring to our customers.
  • Make effective and efficient use of our Customer Experience, Support, and Sales Engineering teams, to educate prospective customers and help them make informed buying decisions.
