About The Position

Probook is an AI dispatch platform designed for the home services industry, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical businesses. It aims to transform operations by automating high-touch workflows around the clock, ensuring a consistent customer experience without the need for 24/7 live staffing. The platform unifies customer processes into a single, scalable solution, providing businesses with one place to manage their entire dispatch operation. The role of a Sale Development Representative involves owning the top of the funnel for the enterprise Account Executive (AE) team. This includes generating opportunities through cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn outreach, qualifying interested prospects, and then handing off high-quality leads to the AEs for closing. The primary target market consists of top home service operators in America.

Requirements

  • Relentless: Comfortable making 60+ dials a day and treats rejection as data, not discouragement, with non-negotiable activity levels.
  • Operator-to-operator communicator: Able to converse with plumbing business owners or HVAC GMs in their language, avoiding jargon and corporate SaaS pitches, and quickly understanding their world.
  • Highly organized: Maintains a clean CRM, knows numbers cold, and never misses a follow-up.
  • Hungry to learn: Early in sales career, eager to accelerate development, absorbs coaching, applies it, and asks good questions.
  • Builder mentality: Thrives without a playbook, figures out effective strategies, documents them, and scales them.
  • NYC Based: Excited to work in-office 5 days/week in a high-collaboration culture.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a sales, SDR, or outbound-facing role.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills: Direct, clear, and credible on the phone.
  • Strong written communication: Emails are short, specific, and elicit replies.
  • High activity tolerance: Does not require external motivation to pick up the phone.
  • CRM discipline: Keeps records clean without being told twice.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior cold calling experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to B2B SaaS or vertical software a plus, not required

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a high-volume outbound motion across cold calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn targeting the top home service operators in the US.
  • Deliver a consistent volume of qualified meetings to the AE team each month, with the primary metric being meetings held, not just booked.
  • Understand each target account before reaching out, tailoring the approach to their specific business size, software stack, and operational context.
  • Maintain clean, accurate records in Ashby for every prospect interaction, ensuring data integrity for the team.
  • Surface patterns and insights from outbound conversations to the Director of Growth and AE team, leveraging proximity to the market.
