SUMMARY: Under the supervision of an RN assists in emergent life threatening intervention; patient examination, and treatment in the emergency department. Administers EKGs, and assists with procedures. In addition, assists with the preparation and maintenance of the working environment. Initiates IV placement and cardiac monitoring for transport.
