Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a technology-related field
  • Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sage Intacct implementation consultant
  • In depth knowledge of accounting (or demonstrable experience of accounting processes)
  • Sage Intacct implementation experience in Core Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry, Cash Management, Basic Sage Intacct Budgeting), Project/Grant Tracking & Billing, Sage Intacct Planning, Dynamic Allocations, Fixed Assets and Inventory Management
  • Strong commitment to and in depth experience with custom Sage Intacct reporting and dashboards
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, etc.) for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting Sage Intacct with key Marketplace Partners such as BILL, Ramp, and Martus Solutions
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative spirit and adaptability to change
  • Strong communication skills in speaking, writing, and presenting; self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Enthusiastic about leadership with aspirations to lead a practice and become a firm partner

  • CPA certification and project management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and design processes for Sage Intacct in the areas of: Core Financials, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Project/Grants Tracking & Billing
  • Communicate the benefits of Sage Intacct solutions to stakeholders and design solutions that meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with teams and clients to assess accounting systems, processes, and needs throughout the implementation discovery process
  • Provide proficient explanations of the accounting system, configuration, business processes and technical architecture of Sage Intacct
  • Lead software implementation and integration, including training and support for client adoption
  • Perform solution design, system testing, testing, training and go-live activities
  • Create customizations using Platform Services and evaluate new Sage Intacct features
  • Manage client engagements, relationships, and provide post-implementation support
  • Assist with special accounting/advisory projects and mentor Sage Intacct Implementation Associates
  • Support project management activities and seek opportunities to grow department revenue
  • Provide Sage Intacct product expertise and support for: implementation team, SIAP teams, and clients
  • Oversee client support portal and processes to ensure effective client service
  • Build strong client relationships and loyalty, providing proactive recommendations
  • Manage Sage Intacct renewals, subscriptions, and client payments; create/manage quotes and ensure billing accuracy
  • Track and develop opportunities within the client base using HubSpot
  • Maintain up-to-date client information in systems; resolve customer/vendor issues as needed
  • Design, lead and manage onboarding for organizations using Sage Intacct joining Abdo services
  • Support sales and demos for new client acquisitions as needed
  • Participate in marketing events, sales meetings, and Sage VAR Partner calls
  • Provide reporting and revenue forecasting to management; collaborate with leadership to enhance service offerings
  • Analyze new functionality in quarterly releases and communicate via newsletters to client base
