As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety Technician to join our team and contribute to our success. The Safety Technician is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for employees in a variety of industries. This position involves working closely with employees, supervisors, and management to identify, evaluate, and eliminate safety hazards. The Safety Technician also creates and implements safety programs, provides safety training, and conducts safety inspections.

Requirements

Safety Technical degree required. Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field preferred.
Prefer 1-3 years of experience in a safety role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Inspect facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential safety hazards.
Provide safety training to employees and management on a regular basis.
Write Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and conduct training.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans.
Monitor safety performance in the workplace and provide feedback to employees and management.
Maintain safety records and documentation.
Develop safety incentive programs.
Provide input and assistance in the development of safety budgets.
Other duties as assigned.
