About The Position

The construction field safety tech will oversee safety for a mechanical contractor for the construction of an industrial power plant

Requirements

• OSHA 30
• 2+ years of construction safety experience (mechanical/industrial preferred)
• Must have mechanical experience and experience with lifts
• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Nice To Haves

• OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
• Provide safety training as needed
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
