About The Position

The Safety Team Member will serve as an essential part of the Capital One Arena experience. These are exciting, staff and guest facing positions that will provide support to the MSE Security team and stakeholders as needed. Requirements

High School Diploma.
Willingness to work in a variety of environments including loud noises, strobe lights, heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time without a break.
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Availability to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Provide a quality guest experience to all visitors, guest, and team members.
Greet guest and answer questions.
Check identification of employees, visitors, and guests as well as screening bags where applicable.
Conduct foot patrol and building checks during normal business hours and events.
Conduct visual inspections and monitor assigned post area(s).
Investigate and report any unusual or unauthorized activity during events.
Demonstrate creativity, persistence, “Arena Awareness”, and knowledge related to the specific event to accurately and efficiently find the best possible options.
Other duties as assigned.
