Requirements
- Automotive OEM experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
- 3 plus years of similar experience
- Ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- CAE Simulation: Perform crashworthiness (frontal, side, rollover, pedestrian), durability, and related testing
- Test Support: Plan, prepare, and analyze results from physical crash tests, correlating virtual models with real data.
- Design Guidance: Influence designs, identify safety enablers, and troubleshoot issues to meet performance goals.
- Performance Validation: Evaluate structural integrity and durability under various operational scenarios (e.g., fatigue, impact).
- Collaboration: Work with design, testing, and CAE teams to integrate safety throughout the product development lifecycle.
