Join Serco as a Safety Service Patrol (SSP) Project Manager! Serco is growing our team and looking for an experienced candidate who has extensive knowledge of SSP Operations to lead a future project team. You will lead a team that works closely with state employees, local law enforcement and other first responders daily. As the Project Manager you will provide first-hand knowledge of project management and SSP operations best practices throughout the duration of the project to ensure success. As a SSP Project Manager, you can expect to: Be responsible for managing a project and related task orders for customer with annual revenue ranging from $3 - $10M. Be responsible for the overall operation of the service in accordance with the contract requirements. Have budgetary responsibilities. Conduct cost management through continual cost control and review. Provide expertise to customer to ensure resolution of issues. Manage a team of 15 or more employees. Audit and evaluate training and performance. Be responsible for all aspects of the project including personnel, vehicles, equipment, planning, safety policies, and logistics. Be responsible for developing and reporting on Standard Operating Procedures, SLAs, and contract deliverables. Develop and foster long-term relationships with TIM partner agencies. Provide operational enhancement recommendations for equipment/technology modifications/upgrades. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: Five years’ experience in project management. Five years of experience in Traffic Incident Management operations management such as safety service patrol or first responder programs. Proficiency managing projects to a project management plan; including the areas of scope, scheduling, cost, risk, quality, stakeholder and resource management and communications. The knowledge and skills to lead a successful team and make sound decisions while working in a high-paced and high-pressure environment. The ability to address conduct and performance issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience managing performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and similar performance-based metrics in a TMC or like environment.
