About The Position
The security officer provides safety and security for KidsPeace personnel, property, clients, patients, and visitors. Acts to prevent theft, fire, vandalism, illegal entry and personal damage.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Required to hold and maintain a valid driver's license in state of work location.
- Must pass a Criminal History Record Clearance & a Child Abuse History Clearance which are processed by KidsPeace as well as possess a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a Physical & Drug screening & possess the ability to attend & successfully complete all KidsPeace sponsored training.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Safety Security experience with work record in an Institutional Program, preferred.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or other applicable field preferred.
- Familiarity with FMS computer management System preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
