Job Description The Safety Program Analyst occupies an important role in the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of our EHS compliance and continuous improvement program supporting Rockwell Automation's Lifecycle Services (LCS) business. You will have an important role in the operations of our (LCS) business while reducing barriers for work at our customer sites. You will provide leadership and technical resources to ensure business compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental government regulations and company procedures. You will also coordinate assessments and implementation of program conformance needs to meet specialized customer EHS program demands and high risk industry requirements. You will report to our HQ EHS Regional Manager and work a hybrid schedule at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences or Engineering or related.
  • Typically requires 3 years of experience directly related to environmental, health, and safety aspects in a manufacturing or field service organization.
  • Proficient in country and regional safety and environmental laws, agency requirements and enforcement methods.
  • Familiarity with mining and oil/petrochemical regulatory laws and consortium requirements.
  • Understand business metrics related to your responsibilities for use in project planning and support of goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with important internal and external customers, representing a broad range of departments and levels.
  • Values and supports diversity in the workplace..
  • Work on complex issues where situation or data analysis is needed to suggest changes and determine path forward.
  • Implement standardized processes across regional business/function to achieve defined goals.

  • Partner with business leaders across the regional boundaries to support defined objectives and manage change.

Responsibilities

  • Leader in the implementation and maintenance of the regional environmental and safety management systems to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures.
  • Support, implement, maintain and modify Headquarters environmental, health and safety field and non-operations oriented policies to ensure compliance to the environmental, health and safety permits and regulations.
  • Provide technical support, input and coordination on environmental, health and safety issues that affect projects and processes at the regional/country level.
  • Complete environmental, health and safety permits, reports, forms and surveys by regulation or Rockwell Automation policy and procedures for the field and non-operations organization, and submit them
  • Respond to customer requests for EHS Plans such as safety manual for on-site project work, and support the project implementation plan.
  • Report monthly injury/illness metrics to HQ-EHS. Help investigate injury and illnesses.
  • Analyze work-related injury and illness data to implement actions to prevent a recurrence of the injury/illness.
  • Support efforts to return employees to productive work within assigned medical restrictions.
  • Ensure that we provide environmental, health, and safety assessments, by regulation or Rockwell Automation policy and procedures. We must also provide personal protective equipment, procedures, training, and other control measures for the field and non-operations personnel.
  • Support environmental product compliance (permit registration, WEEE, RoHS, others) with local and country entities.
  • Support product safety/liability issues.
