About The Position
This assignment provides on-site safety oversight for work being performed on the 18th floor Equipment Room at the North Market Towers. The Safety Professional will support active construction operations and ensure safe work practices are consistently followed in a high-elevation, controlled-access environment.
Requirements
- BCSP credential required, minimum CHST
- First Aid and CPR certification, current and valid
- Experience working in multi-story or elevated construction environments
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and enforce safety expectations
Responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent on-site field presence during active work hours
- Monitor work activities for compliance with OSHA and site safety requirements
- Identify, communicate, and assist in correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Conduct job hazard analyses, safety orientations, and toolbox talks as required
- Complete daily safety documentation and reports
- Participate in site safety meetings and coordination efforts
- Support incident prevention and safety improvement initiatives
