About The Position
We are hiring a Safety Officer to support commercial construction projects, with exposure to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes. This position plays a key role in enforcing safety standards, training field personnel, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
- OSHA 30 certification (documentation required)
- 1â4 years of construction safety experience
- Familiarity with commercial construction or MEP projects preferred
- Experience with safety documentation and training delivery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Data center project exposure
- Additional safety certifications (First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, MEWP, etc.)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site safety inspections and audits
- Ensure adherence to OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
- Lead safety meetings and employee trainings
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Develop safety documentation including AHAs and PTPs
- Partner with project leadership to maintain a safe work environment
