About The Position

You'll oversee safety operations on a large-scale commercial construction project, drive compliance with OSHA standards, and promote proactive safety leadership across the site. Requirements

  • CHST certification required
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct construction safety experience
  • Heavy civil and excavation experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Amazon or similar high-profile clients is a plus
  • Degree in a safety-related field preferred
  • OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide general safety oversight across all project operations
  • Conduct and document daily site inspections and safety audits
  • Lead daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings and weekly Toolbox Talks
  • Attend weekly progress meetings with clients to review safety performance
  • Oversee subcontractor compliance with site safety programs
  • Manage Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation safety plans
  • Perform and document incident investigations, including near-miss events
